According to the Highway Patrol report, Aaron M. Carnes, 25, Aurora, driving a 1976 Field Boss tractor, was reversing, exited the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Lawrence County Coroner Scott Lakin pronounced Carnes dead at the scene at 5:17 p.m.
The fatality was the 122nd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
