Eight people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:10 p.m. Sunday on MO 96, five miles east of Miller.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Dodge Avenger driven by Jason R. Piatt, 31, Bolivar, pulled into the path of a 2005 Pontiac Montana driven by Brenna K. Batty, 37, Miller.
Batty and a passenger in her vehicle, Shawn D. Batty, 39, Springfield, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield. Six other passengers in her vehicle, Elijah S. Batty, 6, Hannah S. Batty, 0, Selah G. Batty, 5, Alexis N. Butler, 9, Emma G. Butler, 11, and Makayla A. Butler, 13, all of Miller, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital.
