Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:25 p.m. Monday on MO 37 at Route B in Purdy.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Kia Sorento driven by Martha Garcia Romero, 39, Verona, was slowing to stop and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Ford F150 driven by Daniel A. Bishop, 38, Stotts City.
Bishop was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
Romero was treated for moderate injuries at Cox Hospital, Monett.
