Friday night, more than 300 Greene County Sheriff’s Office employees came together to execute the transfer of 838 inmates to the new Greene County Jail.
The transfer of the inmates took roughly eight hours and ran smoothly.
Any persons needing to conduct business, such as bailing someone out, at the new facility can go to 1199 North Haseltine Road.
