Springfield man shot to death at intersection of Cherry and Dysart

Springfield police were dispatched to the intersection of Cherry and Dysart at 2:38 A.M., on September 18, 2018, after a 911 caller said a male subject had been shot.

 When officers arrived, they found a male victim lying in the street with an apparent gunshot wound. 

 The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers arriving.



The victim was identified as Ryan A. Boulanger, a 29-year-old male from Springfield. Next of kin notifications have been made for the victim.

Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone who has information about this incident to contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-8477.
