Springfield man arrested for murder at 2550 W. Mill, bond set at $500,000

At approximately 8:18 P.M. on Monday, September 10, 2018, Springfield Police Officers responded to 2550 W. Mill after a 911 caller stated a male subject had been shot at that location.

 When officers arrived, they found a male victim outside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported by paramedics to Mercy Hospital and later died from his injuries. Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Section began a homicide investigation and processed the scene for evidence.

The victim was identified as Anthony A. Correa, a 27-year-old male from Springfield. Next of kin notifications have been made for the victim.



The suspect was identified as Lucky L. Davis, a 33-year-old male from Springfield. On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Davis was arrested by Springfield Police Officers in Springfield. The Greene County Prosecutors Office filed charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. Davis is currently being held in the Greene County Jail with a bond of $500,000.
