A Crane man was killed in a two-vehicle crash 4:20 p.m. Tuesday on MO 248, five miles southwest of Crane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford 150 driven by Kelly P. Vaught, 47, Crane, struck a 2001 International IC school bus driven by Paul E. Schlis, 57, Galena.
Barry County Coroner Jim Fohn pronounced Vaught dead at the scene at 5 p.m.
The fatality was the 87th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
