Ash Grove residents airlifted to Springfield Mercy after accident near Shell Knob

Two Ash Grove residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:40 a.m. today on MO 39, five miles north of Shell Knob.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Charles E. Keeney, 58, Ash Grove, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting both occupants

Keeney and his passenger, Judith E. Keeney, 57, Ash Grove, were airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.
