Kirbyville man killed in three-vehicle crash on 65

A Kirbyville man was killed and two other people injured in a three-vehicle accident 10:35 a.m. Sunday on Highway 65 in Ozark.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Toyota Tacoma driven by Matthew J. Mylenbusch, 42, Kirbyville, slid into the median and overturned, with Mylenbusch ejected into the southbound lane.

The vehicle rolled north and reentered the northbound lane, striking a 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by Jason L. Bain, 42, Blue Springs, and a 2012 Dodge Avenger driven by Zachary S. Sims, 22, Highridge.

Dr. Jacob Baltz pronounced Mylenbusch dead at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.

Two passengers in the Mylenbusch vehicle, Larry W. Treadwell, 35, Branson, and Mamie A. Wright, 35, Merriam Woods, were treated for minor injuries at Cox South.

The fatality was the seventh this month for Highway Patrol Troop D.
