Greene County Sheriff's Office recovers three stolen vehicles

(From the Greene County Sheriff's Office)

Three stolen vehicles were recovered last night by Greene County Deputies, what a busy night. Excellent job guys, Live PD on A&E would have had a lot of footage from last night's calls.

1 - Deputy Haynes and McCall were sent to Danforth Cemetery after a citizen called in report a vehicle being parked at the back of the cemetery with no wheels and the hood up. The vehicle was a stolen Dodge Charger out of Springfield.

2 - Deputy Haynes and McCall conducted a traffic stop at US 65 and Division on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with no rear tail lights. The vehicle and license plates were stolen out of Springfield. The female driver was arrested for 1st Degree Tampering, Possession of C/S and Driving while revoked.

3 - Deputy Pugh and Hicks stopped to check on a vehicle parked at James River Expressway and West Bypass. As they were pulling up to it, there was another vehicle in the area that left. They checked on the vehicle parked roadside and it came back as a stolen vehicle from SPD. There were numerous items in the vehicle including a LARGE number of various vehicle keys, binoculars, facemask, ammunition, flashlights, holster, and laptop computer.
