Ozark man charged with DWI following serious injury crash

An Ozark man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle crash 6:29 p.m. Wednesday on County Line Road, one mile north of Ozark.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Jeep Compass driven by Shawn P. Saylor, 35, Ozark, left the roadway and overturned.







Saylor was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

In addition to DWI, Saylor was cited for failure to maintain a single lane, no valid driver's license, no insurance and for not wearing a seat belt.
