Lebanon woman seriously injured in motorcycle crash caused by loss of rear tire

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash 9:10 p.m. Monday on I-44, three miles east of Strafford.

According to the Highway Patrol report, the rear tire of a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Daniel J. Bledsoe, 38, Lebanon, fell off causing the motocycle to overturn and slide off the roadway, ejecting Bledsoe and a passenger, Jessica M. Doeden, 32, Lebanon.

Doeden was treated for serious injuries and Bledsoe for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
