The Greene County Sheriff's Office has recovered between five to eight hundred marijuana plants from a location in northern Greene County between Monday and Wednesday.
The investigation started when a citizen reported suspicious activity in the 9000 block of North State Highway V, North of Ash Grove. When deputies began investigating the activity, it lead them to a nearby property where they recovered the large amount of plants in a grow operation.
At this time, two subjects have been taken into custody and two more are wanted for questioning. Charges have not been filed at this time against the two in custody.

The value at this time is an estimated minimum of $500,000.00. The Drug Enforcement Administration is now working alongside with the Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
This is an ongoing investigation and more will be released as it becomes available.
