Several Road Construction Projects Approved by
Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission
MoDOT, Southwest District – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting on Wednesday, April 4, in Jefferson City, awarded several road construction projects to contractors, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Here are the details:
Route 65: THE REBUILD Phase Two/Glenstone Pavement Rebuild
Rebuild the southbound Route 65 bridge over I-44, rebuild the southbound Route 65 pavement in sections between Valley Water Mill Road and Kearney Street, rebuild several ramps at the Route 65/I-44 interchange and install new guardrail
Rebuild four sections of concrete pavement and make sidewalk improvements on Glenstone Avenue
Awarded to Millstone Weber, LLC, of St. Charles, for a low bid amount of $7.3 million
Missouri Route 59: Drainage improvements north of Missouri Route 76 in Anderson
Awarded to Branco Enterprises Inc., of Neosho, for a low bid of $46,238
Construction on the projects will start sometime later this year and be completed by the end of 2018. More information will be announced prior to the projects’ start dates.
