A Bolivar man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 9:41 a.m. today on MO 32, 1 1/2 miles west of Halfway.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Bradley D. Sanders, 25, Bolivar, traveled off the north side of the roadway, overcorrected, skidded back onto the roadway and overturned, traveling off the south edge of the road, ejecting the driver. The vehicle struck several trees and a fence and came to rest in a field.
Polk County Deputy D. Biggers pronounced Sanders dead at the scene.
The fatality was the 27th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
