A Fair Grove man was killed in a two-vehicle accident 8 p.m. Friday on Highway CC, three miles west of Fair Grove.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1989 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Kenneth J. Badgero, 42, Fair Grove, crossed the center line and was struck by a 1992 Peterbilt dump truck driven by Jeremy L. Cox, 26, Willard.
Michelle Walters with the Greene County Medical Examiner's office pronounced Badgero dead at the scene.
Cox was treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
A passenger in the Cox vehicle, Alyson L. Badgero, 15, Fair Grove, was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
The fatality was the 28th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
