Springfield Police searching for missing man

UPDATE: Ronald Dancer returned home safely and is unharmed.
The Springfield Police Department is investigating a report of a missing and endangered person and is asking for the public’s assistance. Ronald R. Dancer, 59, walked out of Mercy Hospital at approximately 3:30 p.m. today after being discharged, and he has made no arrangements to be picked up. Dancer has TIA and is unable to communicate during episodes of TIA. He is also diabetic and insulin dependent and has no insulin in his possession.

He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds and has long white hair down to the middle of his back, a white beard that reaches his torso and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt. If a photo is obtained, that will be shared as soon as possible.

Anyone with information regarding Dancer's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
