Deer causes accident injuring Monett woman

A Monett woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:11 a.m. today on Lawrence 1090, three miles north of Monett.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Shelby L. Bennett, 20, Monett, swerved to avoid a deer, ran off the roadway and overturned.

Bennett was treated for minor injuries at Cox Hospital, Monett.
