A special ordinance authorizing the City of Springfield, Missouri, to enter into Schedule of Equipment No. 6, which will become a part of its existing Master Equipment Lease Purchase Agreement, the proceeds of which will be used to pay the costs of acquiring equipment for the Springfield-Branson National Airport and to do all things necessary to carry out the lease-purchase transaction, including the execution of certain documents in connection therewith; and amending the budget of the Springfield-Branson National Airport Board for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 in the amount of $2,904,904.37.

A resolution encouraging the Missouri General Assembly to provide continued funding in the Fiscal Year 2018 budget for the Springfield and Southwest Missouri region’s higher education projects and initiatives that are critical to the region’s future economic development and workforce development strategies.

A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into an addendum to the annual agreement with the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc., to increase the total contract budget by $70,295 to $3,527,670 to reflect current and projected operational changes; and amending the budget of the City’s tourism and convention fund for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 in the amount of $70,295.

A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a Cost Apportionment Agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission and Greene County, to share costs associated with the Route 65 Outer Road relocation; and amending the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year budget for the Department of Public Works in the amount of $606,330 to appropriate Federal Surface Transportation Program funds for this project.

A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a cost share agreement with Menard, Inc., for the purpose of cost coordinating the Chestnut Expressway and Eastgate Avenue improvement project. The City’s estimated cost for the project is $466,087, which will be funded by the 1/8-Cent Transportation Sales Tax Shared Cost Program.

A special ordinance authorizing the plans and specifications for the Republic Road Widening Phase 3 project, Plan No. 2014PW0045T; accepting the bid of Hartman and Company, Inc., in the amount of $2,165,600, which will be funded by the ¼-Cent Capital Improvements Sales Tax and is already budgeted; and authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract with such bidder.

A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, on behalf of the City of Springfield, to enter into an agreement with the Missouri Development Finance Board and Ozarks Food Harvest to obtain tax credits for contributions to benefit Ozarks Food Harvest for the purpose of expanding the capacity of the existing Ozarks Food Harvest facility and to waive the City’s economic development fee in the amount of $1,000.
