Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:31 p.m. today on MO 14, one mile east of Clever.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Dodge Avenger driven by Christopher D. Maples, 28, Clever, failed to yield while crossing the roadway and pulled into the path of a 2006 Chevrolet SUV driven by Todd S. Gerhardt, 29, Nixa.
Gerhardt and four passengers in his vehicle, Candace Gearhardt, 28, Chayla Willis, no age provided, Mark Willis, 7, and Sadie Willis, 11, were treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
