A Mt. Vernon woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident 6:10 p.m. today on Route H, five miles north of Monett.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Honda CRV driven by Erin A. Spradling, 57, Mt. Vernon, traveled off the roadway, went through three fences and overturned.
Eastman was pronounced dead by Dr. Eastman at Cox Monett by 6:45 p.m.
The fatality was the third this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
