A Springfield man was killed in a two-vehicle accident 7:59 p.m. Saturday on MO 215 in Brighton.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Suzuki GSXR1000K motorcycle driven by Jordan A. Langdon, 28, Springfield, failed to yield at an intersection and struck a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Thomas A. Smith, 29, Bolivar.
Langdon was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:20 p.m.
The fatality was the 38th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
