An El Dorado Springs man was killed in a two-vehicle collision 12:06 a.m. today on MO 54 four miles west of El Dorado Springs.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Matthew A. Trandum, 33, Camdenton, crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Clinton T. Stacy, 30, El Dorado Springs head on.
Stacy was pronounced dead at the scene by Vernon County Coroner David Ferry.
Trandum was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
The fatality was the 33rd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
