Hollister pedestrian struck by car

A Hollister pedestrian was injured when he was hit by a car 5:25 a.m. today on MO 14 one and a half miles east of Ozark.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a westbound 2015 Dodge Dart driven by James S. Courtney, 32, Sparta, struck a pedestrian, Russell R. Long, 35, Hollister, in the roadway.

Long was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
