Two Aurora residents were injured in a three-vehicle accident 10:37 a.m. today on Route K, one mile south of Clever.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Alvaro E. Alvarado Castillo, 44, Aurora, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Ethan C. Keltner, 27, Clever. Debris from the Castillo vehicle struck a 1985 Dodge Ram pickup, no driver listed on report.
Castillo and a passenger in his vehicle, Veronica Alvarado, 46, Aurora, were treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
