Three members of Reeds Spring family killed in four-vehicle accident at intersection of Kearney and Glenstone
UPDATE: Andrew M. Lynch, 29, Springfield, is in the Greene County Jail, charged with driving while intoxicated and other crimes. Read the story on the Turner Report.
Three people were killed in a four-vehicle crash 6:08 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Kearney and Glenstone in Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Andrew M. Lynch, 29, Springfield, struck a 2011 Ford F-150, which was stopped at a red light at Kearney and Glenstone.
The Lynch vehicle then failed to yield to the red light and struck a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Jamin H. Seabert, 41, Reed Spring, knocking it into the path of a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Paul T. Peelor, 68, Monroe, Louisiana.
Greene County Medical Examiner Michael Lamphere pronounced Seabert and two passengers in his vehicle, Braeden V. Seabert, 19, Watseka, Illinois, and Kimberly K. Seabert, 39, Reeds Spring, dead at the scene at 7:09 p.m.
Lynch was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
The fatalities were the 64th, 65th and 66th fatalities this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
