According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Subaru Forester driven by Isaac G. Mitchell, 19, crossed the center line and struck a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Easton A. Hanks, 19, Ozark.
A 2005 GMC Sierra driven by Cary A. Burky, 32, Billings, swerved to avoid the vehicles and struck the Mitchell vehicle.
Mitchell was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
Hanks and a passenger in his vehicle, Morgan D. Maleare, 19, Nixa, were treated for minor injuries.
