Branson Police Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on August 18, at 9:26 p.m. at the Charleys Philly Steaks Restaurant at the Branson Landing.
The clerk reported the suspect entered the store after closing. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect then fled the business on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male who is 5ft 10in to 6ft tall with brown hair who is 20 to 30 years old. The suspect was described as wearing a black shirt, sunglasses with a black bandana over his face.
This is an active investigation and the police department continues to track down investigative leads, collect and process evidence and interview potential witnesses. Although this is the second robbery at the Landing in the past three weeks, police do not believe the two incidents are related. Both offenses have very different suspect methods of operation.
Last week, Branson officers met with Branson Landing Management and store managers to discuss security enhancement opportunities for all Branson Landing properties and businesses. The Branson Police Department continues to work with the Branson Landing Management and business managers to provide a safe and secure atmosphere for everyone.
