Teen runs stop sign, crashes into car, five injured

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 7:05 p.m. today on Route AB at MO 266, 1.5 miles west of Springfield.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1994 Toyota Camry driven by Richard L. Cuder, 19, Springfield, traveled through a stop sign and struck a 2004 Dodge Dakota driven by Salvador A. Reyes Medina, 46, Springfield.

Cuder and a passenger in his vehicle, Ashlynn D. Eden, 19, Springfield, were treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital.

Medina was treated for minor injuries and two passengers, Armida Leija, 64, and Maria C. Reyes, 40, both of Springfield, for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
