According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 driven by James W. King, 46, Monett, struck the side of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler driven by Kelsey J. Marler, 31, Springfield.
King was pronounced dead 7:28 p.m. at Mercy Springfield.
Marler received minor injuries.
