(From the Branson Police Department)At approximately 11:15am on March 22, Branson Police Department, Branson Fire Department and Taney County Ambulance District responded to a motor vehicle accident on US Hwy. 65 between MO Hwy. 248 and Bee Creek Road.
At the 2-vehicle crash site, officers discovered a deceased 20-year-old female. The other driver sustained no injuries.
The preliminary investigation does not show reckless actions or intoxication. The final investigation is expected to take approximately one month, and any victim information must come through the Taney County Coroner.
