A Pleasantville pedestrian was injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:50 a.m. today on Farm Road 149, seven miles north of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Ford F-250 pickup driven by Terry A. Nelson, 60, Old Field, struck a 1997 Ford F-350 pickup that was partially disabled in the roadway pushing the vehicle into Spencer G. Bird, 23, Pleasantville, who was in the roadway.
Bird was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
