High-priced criminal lawyer signs on to defend Springfield man facing three counts of murder in connection with DWI crash

High dollar defense attorney Joseph Passanise has been hired to defend Andrew Matthew Lynch, 29, Springfield, who is charged with three counts of second degree murder in connection with an August 3 crash at the intersection of Glenstone and Kearney in which Lynch was allegedly driving drunk when he caused an accident that killed three members of a Reeds Spring family..

Lynch entered a not guilty during his arraignment Monday in Greene County Circuit Court. His next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, August 23.








Lynch, who is being held in the Greene County Jail without bond, is also charged with driving while intoxicated (two or more deaths), careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, resisting arrest by fleeing and leaving the scene of an accident.

The probable cause statement said Lynch's blood alcohol content was almost three times the legal limit.
