Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:55 p.m. Friday on U. S. 60 in Diggins.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chevrolet Impala, driver unknown, ran off the roadway and struck an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn several times ejecting both occupants.
Jerrica L. Duncan, 26, Willard, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.
Michael S. Manis, 45, Springfield, was also treated for serious injuries at Mercy.
