A Pleasant Hope man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:35 a.m today on Sycamore Church Road, one mile west of Branson.
According to the Highway Patrol report, 2005 Mack truck driven by Gary D. Polk, 55, Pleasant Hope, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, returned to the roadway went off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck several trees.
Polk was airlifted to Cox South Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.
