(From the Springfield Police Department)In the early hours on Sunday morning, officers responded to a disturbance in the 2800 block of W. Sunshine.
Ozark Roberto Nunez Andrion, 44, attempted to go back inside the business after it closed. Andrion parked his vehicle in front of the business and engaged with security personnel while making threatening statements about a firearm. Andrion left the business driving erratically and returned a few minutes later.
Officers contacted Andrion who, after an initial investigation, was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of a weapon.

Sunday evening, officers responded to a past assault in the 1300 block of E. Meadowmere.
The victim’s neighbor, Eric Field, 55, had threatened to shoot the victim’s dogs and juvenile child while holding a firearm. Officers established a perimeter around Field’s residence in the 1300 block of S. Rogers.
A crisis negotiator spoke with Field and talked him out of the residence. Field came out of his residence armed and did not comply with officers. A K9 engaged with Field as he attempted to go back inside and was taken into custody.
Field was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for unlawful use of a weapon and trespassing.
