Purdy residents seriously injured in collision on 37

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 7:36 p.m. Wednesday on MO 37, one mile north of Purdy.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by Darrin W. Dodson, 48, Purdy, was slowing to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by a 2011 Chevrolet HHR driven by Nicholas L. George, 23, Cassville.

Two passengers in the Dodson vehicle, Emily N. Dodson, 19, and Esmeralda R. Dodson, 21, both of Purdy, were treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.







Dodson was treated for moderate injuries at Cox.

George was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
