A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a Lease Agreement with Sunset West II, LLC, to lease property located at 2235 West Sunset Street for use by the Department of Public Information as offices and video and photography studio space; and amending the budget of the Department of Public Information for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 in the amount of $33,000 to appropriate reserves from the Telecable fund.

Council Bill 2016-294. (McClure) Anticipated To Be Tabled Until The January 23, 2017 Meeting In Order To Consider A Substitute Council Bill.
A special ordinance approving a Petition to Establish the Brentwood N/S Community Improvement District; declaring that a portion of the district is a blighted area and that its redevelopment is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, prosperity, health, safety, morals, and welfare; authorizing the City Manager to execute a Cooperative Agreement between the City, the Brentwood N/S Community Improvement District, and Jared Development; and directing the City Clerk to notify the Missouri Department of Economic Development and the Greene County Clerk of the creation of the District.

A special ordinance accepting the bid of Rosetta Construction, LLC, in the amount of $458,256.50 for the construction of sanitary sewers in Joint Sanitary Sewer District No. 171 of Section No. 11 and Sanitary Sewer District No. 171A of Section No. 11, located in the vicinity of the west 3200 block Sunshine Street and the south 1900 block of Moore Road as indicated on “Exhibit A;” declaring the work to be necessary; stating the intention to pay for all or part of the improvements from the proceeds of bonds; specifying those costs and expenses to be assessed against the properties in the district and joint district and the method by which the costs will be apportioned; defining the boundaries of the area(s) in Joint Sanitary Sewer District 171 of Section 11 that will not have special sewer districts established at this time; setting forth the manner of payment for the district and joint district, the lien of the assessments for the district and joint district, and the duration of the lien; setting forth the interest rate to be charged on the tax bills for Sanitary Sewer District No. 171A of Section No. 11; authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract and to approve the bond for said improvement; authorizing progress payments to be made to the contractor; and declaring that this bill qualifies for approval in one reading.

As per RSMo. 109.230 (4), City records that are on file in the City Clerk’s office and have met the retention schedule will be destroyed in compliance with the guidelines established by the Secretary of State’s office.
