A Stockton man was killed in an accident 10 p.m. Monday in Cedar County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Honda 4 Trax driven by Dillon Frieze, 22, Stockton, was southbound on 1025 Road at a speed too fast for conditions. The driver was unable to negotiate an intersection, skidded across 1600 Road, became airborne into a field and was ejected.
Frieze was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Meagan Carter.
The fatality was the 40th this year for Missouri Highway Patrol Troop D.
