Springfield Police ask for help locating fugitive

The Springfield Police Department is requesting help locating fugitive Chance W. Parker, 25. He is wanted on the following Greene County warrant:
  • #1431-CR02786 – Bond, $150,000
  • First-degree assault
  • Armed criminal action
  • Unlawful possession of a firearm
Parker is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, bald and has brown eyes.
Do not try to apprehend Parker as he is known to have violent tendencies. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts should call the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or CRIME STOPPERS at (417) 869-TIPS. A tip can also be submitted online at www.tipsubmit.com or by texting “417SPD” plus the message to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters do not have to give their name and could earn a reward.
