Springfield man arrested for burglary, endangering welfare of a child, property damage

On Saturday morning, officers responded to a burglary in the 500 block of S. Nolting. John Zalipski, 46, kicked open the door of the home. 

When confronted by the victim, Zalipski fled the scene.
 
Officers later located Zalipski who was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for burglary, endangering the welfare of a child, and property damage.

An employee at a business in the 2200 block of S. Campbell received messages about an intent to commit a robbery from Charles Swift, 31.
 
When Swift arrived at the business early Saturday morning, the employee called 911. Officers responded and took Swift into custody.

Swift was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for burglary, trespassing, and possession of burglary tools.
