Springfield, Marshfield residents seriously injured in four-vehicle accident, including two head-on collisions

Two people were injured in a four-vehicle accident 4:57 p.m. Tuesday on Route OO in Strafford.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Toyota Tacoma driven by Nathan L. Wieneke, 30, Nixa, was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck a 2001 Ford Escape driven by Jason M. Hahn, 44, Springfield, in the rear, causing it to hit a 2004 Dodge Durango driven by Glenda K. Cantrell, 59, Marshfield, head on and then hit a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Austin M. Dedmon, 32, Marshfield head on.







Hahn was taken to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

Cantrell was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
