Four people, including two pedestrians, injured in crash near Marshfield, Fair Grove man airlifted to Cox South

Four people, including two pedestrians were injured in a three-vehicle crash 6:35 p.m. Saturday on Highway 38, two miles west of Marshfield.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado had broken down and the driver of a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado stopped to assist with both drivers standing near their vehicles.

A 2010 Saturn Vue driven by Nella M. Jones, 65, Marshfield, struck the rear of the first vehicle causing it to hit the second vehicle and both pedestrians.








One of the pedestrians, Daniel J. Butts, 43, Fair Grove, was airlifted to Cox South Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

Deana L. Hendrix, 46, Strafford, who was in the first vehicle, Logan McIntosh, 21, Strafford, the other pedestrian and Jones were treated for minor injuries at Cox South.
