According to the Highway Patrol report, William E. Roberts, 58, Branson, was fishing in the creek, became submerged in water and drowned.
Taney County Coroner Tony Mullins pronounced Roberts dead at 1:15 p.m.
The drowning was the first of the month and the 10th during 2019 for Highway Patrol Troop D.
