For the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year, Tracy Williams will serve as the interim principal for Jeffries Elementary School. The current principal, Dr. Liz Cooper, is transitioning to a new role as the district's director of human resources.
Williams is currently assistant principal at Pleasant View K-8 School, where he has worked since 2013. Prior to joining the Pleasant View team, he was a coach and teacher at Cherokee Middle School for eight years. His diverse background with SPS as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, summer school principal and Explore coordinator has provided him valuable leadership experience.
