The Springfield Police Department will host a promotion ceremony at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Springfield Regional Police and Fire Training Center, 2620 W. Battlefield.
Corporal Bryan Welch was promoted to sergeant, effective Nov. 13.
Officer Joshua Ludwig was promoted to corporal, effective Nov. 13.
Media and the public are welcome to attend.
