One Westbound Lane of I-44 REOPENED to Traffic West of Mount Vernon
Where: One westbound lane of I-44 west of Mount Vernon at the bridge over Spring River has REOPENED to traffic (Mile Marker 42)
When: At 7:15 p.m. this evening (Tuesday, Nov. 8)
What: MoDOT crews were able to make necessary repairs to the bridge’s driving surface to open one westbound lane
Traffic Impacts: One westbound lane will remain closed to allow crews to continue with bridge work ‘round the clock until Nov. 18. Delays are expected at times.
