I-44 interchange ramps west of Springfield to be closed

MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: I-44 Interchange Ramps CLOSED at Night West of Springfield August 10-13


What: I-44 on and off ramps CLOSED at Greene County Routes PP/K and Greene County Route N/T interchanges (Mile Marker 61 & 67, respectively) west of Springfield

Where/When:
10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, August 10: I-44 ramps at Greene County Route PP/K interchange CLOSED

10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 11: I-44 ramps at Greene County Route N/T interchange CLOSED

10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, August 12: Ramps at either interchange could be closed if work is not completed Monday and Tuesday nights 








(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule)

Why: Contractor crews paving ramps at both interchanges

Traffic Impacts 

-Drivers will not be able to enter or exist from interchanges where crews are working

-Drivers can reach their destinations by using interchanges in the area including Greene County Route MM/B or Missouri Route 360

-Drivers urged to find alternate routes

Details: Work is part of a larger project to resurface I-44, lengthen interchange ramps and install new guardrail between a point east of Missouri Route 96 (Mile Marker 58) and Missouri Route 266/Chestnut Expressway (Mile Marker 72) west of Springfield.
