Exeter man airlifted to Mercy Springfield following collision on 76

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:30 a.m. Thursday on MO 76, just north of Ridgely.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Charles L. Wells, 69, Exeter, pulled into the path of a 2005 Cadillac CTS driven by Jacob Stephens, 20, Cassville.

Wells was flown to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, to be treated for serious injuries.

Stephens was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Cassville.
