Halfway man airlifted to Cox following rollover accident

A Halfway man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:20 p.m. Friday on Route H. five miles north of Pleasant Hope.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by David M. Garrison, 50, Halfway, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the road, overturned and Garrison was ejected.

Garrison was airlifted to Cox South Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.
